Introducing Airbrush Make up !

I am so excited to announce that I will now be offering Airbrush make up to my brides of 2012. A bride faces the same scenarios that filmmakers and TV producers face - the need for a flawless finish that lasts and doesn’t move! Airbrush Make-Up provides this and much more. You may ask ‘Why have film make-ups not been used before for occasions such as weddings?’ Before Airbrush, some were all simply too heavy to wear and didn’t...

Here are a few different variations of half up half down looks!                  The style above LOOKS amazing on brides and is timeless, and elegant. The photos that follow are a few real life brides from the past year that I have done! Tracey´s hair was perfect for this style !     The next image is of Kelly who married in Marbella in September. Kelly had lovely long thick hair and wore it down with a slight tousled look with one side gently...

Wedding hair- How to choose and some questions to ask yourself !

Looking for inspiration for wedding hair and make up can be a daunting experience! For example when looking in wedding magazines the models in there can have back combed bird´s nested hair with a bow in the side- perfect for a catwalk- However NOT perfect for a wedding day look! When starting out looking for inspiration for hair and make up ideas, I always say to my brides, take a look through magazines- they don't need to be bridal magazines, Hello, OK, Vanity Fair,  have  styles that look beautiful, especially at this time of the year, where people have their hair done for Christmas parties...

Karen Hynes!

Karen Hynes made a BEAUTIFUL bride, she was so tiny, BUT the fab amazing and spectacular Christian Louboutin  shoes looked WOW ! Karens Aunt had made the veil, which was so spectacular, the detail that had gone into making the veil was something else, lots of intricate work, but the result was amazing! There were bets being taken from friends and family about how long it would take Karen´s Dad to get emotional, and I can confirm, it took 3 seconds after he saw Karen for the first time  in her dress....I was´nt too far behind myself !   Here are a couple of shots

Amelia and Des

When fist meeting with Amelia to discuss how she would like her hair and make up on her big day, I realised that even if Amelia would have had her hair back combed and standing on end, she would have looked outstanding beautiful, luckily I was not asked to do this, but something very natural, pretty and soft. Amelia and Des married at the beautiful Palacete De Cazulas - a very exclusive county mansion, where the masion has a chapel in its grounds, the venue is simply stunning. Here are a few shots of the Beautiful Amelia.   With special thanks to Photographer- Jeremy Standley Wedding...

Jennifer and Ashley

When Jennifer first emailed me a year ago, she said that both Ashley and jennifer lived in Boston and that they would be getting married in Marbella, as Ashley was brought up on the Costa Del Sol, and his parents lived there ! From the very first meeting with Jennifer a few days before the wedding for the trial, i was already in tears (happy tears I must add)....Jennifer and Ashley had guests coming to their wedding from all over the world, and both the bride and groom (though perhaps more the bride) had put ¨holiday packs¨together to put in their guests hotel rooms when they arrived in Spain!...

Holiday time!

Well, what a busy busy year 2011 has been! I am finally back in the UK, and just had a week off to detox my lungs after all the hairspray that was consumed over the past few months. I have met and worked with some AMAZING brides over the past few months, and there have been lots and lots of memories made from meeting each and every one of my brides for this year. Over the next few days I will be writing up a few blogs and sharing some memorable moments with you all. Kathryn x
